Challenge the night, conquer the desert trails under starry skies!

The 18 Hours of Fruita is a legendary overnight mountain bike endurance race at Highline Lake State Park in Loma, Colorado. Riders—solo or in teams—tackle as many scenic singletrack laps as they can from midnight to 6 PM the next day. Known for its fantastic desert views, park amenities, and festival atmosphere, this spring classic is a staple of the Colorado endurance racing calendar. The 2025 event is set for May 3, 2025, with camping, showers, food, live music, and a vibrant post-race party included.

COURSE DETAILS

The course features a 7-mile (11.3 km) loop of fast, flowy singletrack weaving through desert scrub, rocky terrain, and lush park areas—offering both speed and technical challenges.
