The 2025 RAT 1000 and Mini RAT is a premier gravel stage race starting October 11, 2025, in Texarkana, Arkansas. Riders can choose from the epic 1,000-mile RAT 1000 route, completing the journey across Texas via scenic and rugged gravel backroads, or tackle the shorter Mini RAT and Tiny RAT options, ranging from 110 to 150 miles. Emphasizing camaraderie and personal achievement, participants share group departures and overnight stops, all under self-supported racing rules. The event is completely free for Club Spinistry members, reinforcing a strong community and focus on adventure.
COURSE DETAILS
A 1,000-mile stage race with shorter Mini RAT (140-150 miles) and Tiny RAT (150-mile loop) options, beginning in Texarkana, AR and traversing diverse Texas backcountry on gravel and rural roads, with group overnight stops in select towns.
