Conquer Ohio's wildest hills on two wheels!

The 5th annual Wild Ride takes place on June 21, 2025, starting at Shawnee State Park in West Portsmouth, Ohio. Cyclists can choose from seven paved and gravel routes, ranging from fun beginner loops to grueling endurance rides. Navigate Ohio’s largest and hilliest state forest on scenic, challenging roads, and enjoy well-stocked aid stations, lively event support, and a set of unique participant perks like an edible medal and commemorative glass. The event attracts both seasoned riders and newcomers, providing an unforgettable experience in the heart of Shawnee State Forest.

COURSE DETAILS

Choose from seven curated routes: paved routes span 9–101 miles with 400–6,800 ft elevation gain; gravel options are 34–60 miles long with 3,460–5,800 ft elevation gain. The course traverses hilly paved roads and rugged gravel paths winding through dense woodlands and valleys of Shawnee State Forest.
