The Aspen Gran Fondo is a non-competitive, long-distance road cycling event held in Snowmass, Colorado. Organized by the Aspen Cycling Club, the event offers riders the choice of three distance options—36, 62, or 103 miles—each traversing breathtaking routes through the Roaring Fork Valley. Cyclists climb iconic passes such as Maroon Bells, Ashcroft, Capitol Creek, and Snowmass Creek, with aid stations at the summit of each climb. The ride culminates in a festive finish-line BBQ, and discounted lodging is available for participants in Snowmass Village.
COURSE DETAILS
Start and finish at Snowmass Town Park. Riders choose 36, 62, or 103 mile routes that include the renowned climbs of Maroon Bells, Ashcroft, Capitol Creek, and Snowmass Creek. Aid stations are set at the top of each significant climb, allowing for route flexibility during the event.
