Conquer the season’s final challenge on Breckenridge’s legendary trails.

The Breckenridge Classic, held on August 23, 2025, is the exciting grand finale of the Summit Mountain Challenge mountain bike series. This cross-country race invites riders to test themselves on technical high-alpine singletrack with a festive atmosphere, drawing together the local cycling community to close out the season on some of Colorado’s most scenic terrain.

The race features high-elevation mountain biking, with riders tackling technical singletrack, significant climbs, and rapid descents. Courses are typically 15–20 miles, with final 2025 details posted on the official website. Trails are maintained and permitted in partnership with the USDA Forest Service.
