Riders brave 40 miles of undulating, mixed Northwoods terrain with over 3,000 feet of elevation gain, supported by multiple aid stations and cheered on by family and friends. The event weekend includes not only the main Chequamegon 40 but also the Short & Fat (16-mile) and Little Loggers (youth) races, along with post-race festivities including live music and food trucks.
