Conquer Arizona’s toughest gravel challenge on ancient trails.
Arizona’s oldest and most renowned gravel grinder, the Chino Grinder, tests cyclists on rugged, historic routes that travel the storied Overland Historic Road Trail—the oldest continuously used road in the U.S. since 1000 AD. The 2025 event, confirmed for October 18, offers four challenging distances through remote terrain packed with steep climbs, rocky descents, and breathtaking Southwestern scenery.
COURSE DETAILS
Participants can choose from the 21-mile 'Fun Grind', 43-mile 'Fine Grind', 60-mile 'Half Grind', or the epic 120-mile 'Full Grind' courses. The route ranges in elevation from 3,800 ft in Chino Valley to a high point of 7,300 ft, with courses traversing a mix of gravel, dirt, and limited pavement along tough, scenic stretches.
