The Crusher in the Tushar is a demanding 69.9-mile mixed-terrain bike race traversing the Tushar Mountains of Utah. Starting in Beaver, Utah and finishing at Eagle Point Resort, the event features a punishing mix of climbs, high-altitude forest roads, and rugged backcountry trails. With a unique course split—40% tarmac and 60% gravel—the Crusher attracts both elite and amateur riders who want to experience over 10,000 feet of elevation gain amidst breathtaking landscapes. New for 2025, a 'Half Crushed' 37-mile event option is offered for those seeking a shorter but still challenging adventure.
COURSE DETAILS
Starts in Beaver, Utah and finishes at Eagle Point Resort. The route features a 21-mile climb starting at mile 11, the famous 'Big Drop' descent with 4,000 ft loss over 10 miles, varied road surfaces, and five well-placed aid stations.
Race HIGHLIGHTS
- Qualification for UNBOUND Gravel: 50% of entries awarded by performance, 50% via lottery
- Strict cutoff: Riders must reach mile 27 by 10 AM to avoid disqualification
