Dawn to Dusk Arizona is a legendary 12-hour endurance mountain bike race held at McDowell Mountain Regional Park, just outside Fountain Hills, AZ. Riders test their limits on a challenging desert course while enjoying a festival atmosphere packed with live music, food trucks, a Four Peaks Beer Garden, and camaraderie in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Open to solos and teams, this annual event delivers fast, scenic, and technical desert riding—creating an unforgettable experience for mountain bikers every December. The 2025 edition takes place on December 13th.

COURSE DETAILS

The race features a 16.5-mile loop on McDowell Mountain’s Pemberton Trail, renowned for its rolling singletrack, scenic Sonoran desert views, and challenging yet non-technical sections. Expect well-maintained trails with stretches of gravel, loose rock, and sandy areas, plus some fast descents and moderate climbs.
