Tackle Steamboat’s epic trails in a premier endurance challenge!

The Emerald Mountain Epic is Steamboat Springs' signature two-day endurance event, taking place August 2–3, 2025. The event features mountain biking on August 2 and trail running on August 3, offering a uniquely rewarding race experience through 90% singletrack trails, major elevation gains, and picturesque Colorado wilderness. Athletes can compete in a 52-mile mountain bike race, half and full marathons, or team up in relay categories—each emphasizing community spirit, camaraderie, and competition.
