Conquer Cottonwood’s trails while supporting Salida’s singletrack legacy.

The FIBIKE MTB Race takes place on June 15, 2025, in the Arkansas Hills above Salida, Colorado. This 20-mile mountain bike challenge highlights rugged dirt roads and intermediate singletrack, showcasing both technical riding and high-desert scenery. More than just a race, the event is a community gathering supporting Salida Mountain Trails, with proceeds helping to maintain and expand local trail access. Riders start and finish in downtown Salida, and the race promotes both competition and camaraderie on two wheels.

COURSE DETAILS

The course is a 20-mile variation of the Cottonwood loop, with approximately 2,500 feet of climbing. It features a blend of dirt roads and intermediate singletrack trails winding through the rocky, high-desert Arkansas Hills above Salida.

Race HIGHLIGHTS

  • Starts and finishes at the F Street Trailhead in downtown Salida
  • Proceeds benefit Salida Mountain Trails (SMT), supporting community trail work
  • Awards for top 3 overall and top male/female riders in each age bracket
  • E-bikes are not allowed, but participants may switch between bikes during the event
