Conquer gravel roads beneath the Grand Canyon’s towering rim.

Experience a one-of-a-kind gravel cycling race starting in Tusayan, AZ, as the Grand Canyon Grinder returns September 6, 2025. Riders can choose from 77-mile or 33-mile distances, traversing rugged terrain that includes a combination of gravel roads and iconic segments of the Arizona Trail. The event promises awe-inspiring views of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim and an adventure through remote, breathtaking wilderness.

The course mixes remote gravel roads with technical trail portions, following a historic stagecoach route and sections of the Arizona Trail. Riders start in Tusayan, heading into the wild lands bordering the South Rim.
