The Great Camp Sagamore Gravel Experience, held September 7-10, 2025, is a multi-day, all-inclusive cycling getaway set at the iconic Great Camp Sagamore in New York’s Adirondacks. This event is not a traditional race but a curated cycling vacation, blending scenic gravel rides with immersive access to a National Historic Landmark. Participants enjoy guided daily rides, historic lodging, chef-prepared meals, and the full range of camp amenities, including paddling on Sagamore Lake, hiking, and evening socials around the campfire. The experience is enriched by the camp’s storied Vanderbilt history and the breathtaking wilderness setting.
COURSE DETAILS
Signature out-and-back route from Raquette Lake to Great Camp Sagamore covers fast, hard-packed dirt with some loose stones. Terrain is beginner-friendly, and the weekend offers a variety of guided rides on scenic gravel and dirt roads throughout the camp and surrounding Adirondack landscape.
