The Leadville Trail 100 MTB Race is an iconic challenge for mountain bikers, pushing competitors to their physical and mental limits in the rugged heart of the Colorado Rockies. Set for August 9, 2025, in Leadville, CO, the event spans 100 miles of high-altitude terrain, with breathtaking climbs, technical descents, and relentless scenery. Riders tackle elevations from the start at 10,152 feet up to 12,424 feet, covering over 12,000 feet of total elevation gain. Since its founding in 1994, the race has become famous for its belt buckle finisher prizes, vibrant community spirit, and charity partnerships.

A grueling 100-mile out-and-back course beginning and ending in downtown Leadville, featuring forest trails, unpaved mountain roads, and steep, technical climbs—most notably the iconic Columbine Mine ascent.
