Conquer Michigan's gravel crown jewel on October 25, 2025!

The Lowell Classic Gravel Road Race is Michigan's iconic old-world-style gravel cycling event, held annually in Lowell since 2013. Riders experience a memorable challenge across rural terrain with distances for every level, winding along the scenic Flat River, bustling through farm-lined backroads of Ionia County, and crossing a historic mid-1800s wooden covered bridge. Serving as the finale and awards celebration for the Michigan Gravel Race Series, this event welcomes the gravel community with a grassroots spirit and rustic Midwest charm, promising a festive autumn race day.

The race offers four course options: 15, 34, 50, and 100 miles, each consisting of a single loop along mostly unpaved rural roads, passing historic landmarks and picturesque farmland. The route features rolling hills and variable elevation for an engaging ride.
