Conquer alpine climbs amid Colorado's legendary Maroon Bells peaks.
The Maroon Bells-King Hill-Ashcroft Road Race is a bucket-list cycling challenge set for July 16, 2025, starting at Aspen Highlands. Riders face picturesque yet demanding climbs on paved roads, including the iconic ascent toward the Maroon Bells and the scenic stretch to Ashcroft. With short and long course options, every participant will experience breathtaking Rocky Mountain vistas and one of the most stunning cycling routes in Colorado.
COURSE DETAILS
Both short and long courses share the first 25 miles, featuring climbs up Maroon Creek Road and Castle Creek Road. The neutral zone includes a bike path segment through meadows and forests. The long course continues with a 12.9-mile out-and-back climb past Ashcroft.
