Experience the adrenaline of youth mountain biking in Minnesota!
The 2025 Minnesota Cycling Association (MCA) Race Weekend 1 marks the kickoff of the youth mountain bike racing season. Scheduled for August 23–24 at Schindler’s Way in Austin, MN, the event is open to student-athletes in grades 6–12 and welcomes all skill levels. As the first race in a seven-event series, participants enjoy a supportive, inclusive environment—no tryouts required and all riders contribute to team success. Join a weekend packed with teamwork, excitement, and personal growth on the trails!
COURSE DETAILS
Course distances vary by category, ranging from 4 miles for 6th–8th graders (1 lap) up to 16 miles for varsity (4 laps). Races are held on off-road mountain bike trails at Schindler’s Way, offering students a true cross-country cycling experience. Saturday is middle school competition; Sunday features high school classes.
