The Minnesota Cycling Association's 2025 Race Weekend 5 at Detroit Mountain brings together middle and high school riders for an exciting two-day mountain bike competition. Designed to test all skill levels, the event features a technically diverse course with flowy singletrack, switchback climbs, and adrenaline-pumping gravity trails. The weekend is split with Saturday focusing on middle school racing and Sunday hosting high school teams. Riders and teams experience a competitive, supportive, and energetic environment as part of the Minnesota youth mountain biking series.
COURSE DETAILS
Detroit Mountain’s course features a 4-mile lap weaving through wooded singletrack, gravity trails, and modern flow trails. Expect switchback climbs, fast descents, and challenges for all riders.
Race HIGHLIGHTS
- Gravity trails feature downhill sections that test skill and control
- Flowing singletrack for both speed and technical challenge
- Middle school races on Saturday (6th–8th grade), high school races on Sunday (Freshman–Varsity)
