Tackle Rockford's trails in Michigan's premier youth MTB race.

The MiSCA Merrell Trail MTB XC Race is Race #1 of the 2025 Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association (MiSCA) series, taking place August 23–24, 2025, at Plainfield Premier Park in Rockford, Michigan. Open to elementary, middle, and high school student riders—no team affiliation required—the event features age-based categories with elementary races on Saturday and grades 6 and over on Sunday. Registration opens March 1, 2025.

Course details including length and elevation gain will be announced closer to the event. The location is Plainfield Premier Park, Rockford, MI, and the event features a cross-country (XC) mountain bike course with a mix of natural and technical singletrack terrain.

• Student-only event; no team required
• Elementary races on Saturday; grades 6+ on Sunday
• Ample parking at Meijer Sports Complex ($10 per car per day, $15 for the weekend)
• Camping not available onsite, but nearby at Wabasis Lake Campground (15 miles east)
• Registration opens March 1, 2025
