Fast flowing singletrack adventure through scenic Lake Hope trails

Race to the Hills is set for September 7, 2025, at Lake Hope State Park in McArthur, Ohio as part of the OMBC (Ohio Mountain Bike Championship) Series. Known as a favorite stop and one of the largest races on the series circuit, this event features fast, flowing singletrack trails that attract racers of all levels. Participants can expect memorable riding through Copperhead, Bobcat, and Wildcat trails, all while supporting trail maintenance through race donations to the Athens Bike Club.

Multiple course options: 30 miles for Expert Class, 23 miles for Expert Women (modified second lap), and 17 miles for Sport Class. The event is held at Lake Hope State Park, following a combination of signature trails with wave starts every two minutes.

• Racers leave in OMBC division waves every two minutes, starting with E-Bike and Pro/Expert men
• Signature trails include Copperhead, Bobcat, and Wildcat
• Donations benefit Athens Bike Club for trail maintenance
• Camping available for race participants in closed campground area
• Packet pickup at 10:00 a.m.
• Race starts at 12:00 p.m.
