Experience the ultimate high-altitude challenge as part of the Redlands Bicycle Classic’s 40th-anniversary event. The Trek Bikes Onyx Summit Road Race is a prestigious stage that takes riders on a grueling ascent from Redlands to the legendary Onyx Summit, climbing over 6,600 feet on the highest paved road in Southern California. This historic race draws elite cyclists from around the world to test their strength, endurance, and tactical skill, solidifying its reputation as a must-do event in American cycling.

Starting from Hangar 24 Brewery in Redlands, the course travels along Highway 38 with loops around Jenks Lake, technical descents, and a relentless uphill push to the Onyx Summit finish line at 8,000 feet. The women's race is 56.1 miles and the men's race is 75.5 miles.
