Experience one of Washington’s premier hill climbs as you ride from sea level at Port Angeles Harbor to the breathtaking heights of Olympic National Park’s Hurricane Ridge. With the road closed to vehicle traffic for the event, you'll ascend through old-growth forests, alpine meadows, and panoramic vistas, focusing on personal achievement over competition. Enjoy aid stations along the climb and a lively post-ride celebration at the Port Angeles pier.
COURSE DETAILS
The route starts at Port Angeles Harbor and climbs Hurricane Ridge Road for approximately 18 miles of sustained ascent, ending with gorgeous ridge-top views. The paved mountain road features a steady uphill grade, winding switchbacks, and segments through tunnels and wildflower-laden meadows.
