The Rode To Hell Gravel Bike Race, taking place on October 4, 2025, is a thrilling autumn event that challenges riders of all levels with three different courses starting in Chelsea, Michigan and looping through Hell, Michigan. Experience Michigan’s vibrant fall landscapes as you traverse mostly gravel roads dotted with lively aid stations. After your ride, celebrate your accomplishment with delicious food, craft beer, and live music at the festive post-race party. The event prides itself on a welcoming atmosphere, risk-free registration options, and an unforgettable blend of scenery and community.
COURSE DETAILS
Three route options: 24-mile Purgatory Loop (712 ft elevation gain, 77% gravel/23% paved, 2 aid stations); 44-mile Hell Loop (1,810 ft elevation gain, 86% gravel/14% paved, 2 aid stations including one in Hell); 73-mile Hell Loop (3,033 ft elevation gain, 86% gravel/14% paved, 3 aid stations). Courses wind from Chelsea to Hell, MI and back, traversing rural roads with beautiful autumn colors.
