San Mar’s The Great Bicycle Tour (TGBT XXXVIII) is a four-day, 184.5-mile fully supported cycling adventure along the historic C&O Canal in Maryland, taking place July 12–15, 2025. This family-friendly, car-free ride benefits San Mar Family and Community Services, a nonprofit aiding children and families since 1883. Riders enjoy planned rest stops, included meals, gear transport, and their choice of camping or hotel lodging as they pedal from Cumberland, MD, to Washington, DC.
COURSE DETAILS
Four-day supported ride on the C&O Canal towpath from Cumberland, MD, to Georgetown, DC, featuring car-free crushed stone and dirt trails, daily logistics support, meals, and luggage transportation.
