Conquer Snowmass’ alpine trails: climbs, descents, and pure mountain adrenaline!
The SM Short Track 2025 is a mountain bike challenge held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the scenic Snowmass Base Village in Colorado. This event, organized by the Aspen Cycling Club, offers both a short course (approximately 8 miles) and a long course (approximately 12.6 miles), featuring a mix of rocky singletrack, flowy descents, work roads, and challenging alpine climbs. The race is designed for mountain bikers who thrive on technical trails and mountainous terrain. Before the main event, younger riders (grades 1–8) can join the Mini MTB course, adding a family-friendly vibe to this action-packed day.
COURSE DETAILS
Two courses offered: short (8 mi) and long (12.6 mi). Riders climb Discovery to Village Bound, tackle various trails including French Press and Viking, with the long course adding Climb Work Road, out Village Bound, and a thrilling descent on Fanny Hill singletrack.
