The Stonewall Century Ride – 22nd Annual offers cyclists a challenging and breathtaking adventure along Colorado's Highway of Legends. Taking place on August 9, 2025, this 102-mile road cycling event begins and ends in La Veta, Colorado, and supports local nonprofits. Riders conquer significant elevation and steep gradients, pass through historic mining towns, and enjoy extensive support including well-stocked aid stations and a celebratory post-ride BBQ. The event is renowned for its scenery, spirited atmosphere, and tough yet rewarding course.

COURSE DETAILS

Out-and-back route along Colorado Highway 12 ('Highway of Legends'), starting and finishing in La Veta. The ride features impressive mountain vistas, steep grades over 10%, and the infamous 'Soul Crusher' climb at mile 83. Seven supported aid stations are available along the route.
