Conquer Vermont’s toughest trails with epic climbs and camaraderie!
The 2025 Slate Valley Epic is an exhilarating 40+ mile mountain bike adventure set in Poultney, Vermont. On July 19, 2025, riders will challenge themselves across technical single-track and double-track trails, climbing over 5,000 feet as they traverse lush forests and take in vistas of southwestern Vermont. The fifth annual edition introduces a new relay option for teams of two, inviting more riders to experience the epic. After conquering the course, participants enjoy a festive atmosphere with local food, cold Vermont brews, live music, and the opportunity for primitive camping at the trailhead.
COURSE DETAILS
A single-loop 40+ mile course traversing technical single-track and double-track trails through Slate Valley Trails, featuring forested climbs, fast descents, and stunning views of the Vermont landscape.
