About

Explore Sacred Terrain in Spectacular Texas Canyon

The 7th Annual Texas Canyon Mountain Bike Race returns to Dragoon, Arizona on January 24, 2026. Hosted by the Amerind Museum, this event provides riders with rare access to the breathtaking Texas Canyon area, which is typically closed to bikes. The race includes competitive and non-competitive options, with e-bikes welcome in the Fun Ride. This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) event, with no aid stations, so participants must be self-sufficient. Helmets are mandatory, and registration opens August 29, 2025. All proceeds benefit the Amerind Museum's mission, fostering understanding of Native Peoples of the Americas.
