About

Pedal through a breathtaking canyon reserved just for race day!

The Texas Canyon Mountain Bike Race & Fun Ride takes place on April 26, 2025, in Dragoon, Arizona. This exclusive event lets riders of all levels experience the stunning private trails of the Texas Canyon Nature Preserve—normally off-limits to bikes. Organized by the Amerind Museum, the 6th annual race offers both competitive and non-competitive riding options, including a Fun Ride that welcomes e-bikes. Registration includes access to the Amerind Museum, making it a unique blend of sport and culture. Proceeds support the museum’s mission of cultural and historical preservation.

COURSE DETAILS

Choose between a challenging 15.8-mile race (two 7.9-mile loops) or a single 7.9-mile course. The route features scenic, gravel, and dirt trails set within Arizona’s iconic rock formations. Riders must bring their own hydration and snacks as there are no aid stations available, and helmets are required.
