The Fox Bikepacking Race is a unique two-day stage event held July 26-27, 2025. Starting and finishing in Finland, MN, riders traverse 135 miles of Minnesota’s scenic North Shore, with an overnight camp by Lake Superior in Grand Marais. The race features a mix of timed, self-supported gravel riding, camaraderie at camp, and changing routes each day—including challenging climbs in the Sawtooth Range and roughly 50% unique terrain on the way back. Designed for both seasoned and new bikepackers, The Fox emphasizes adventure, self-reliance, and fun in the wilds of northeastern Minnesota.

COURSE DETAILS

Two-day stage bikepacking event starting and finishing in Finland, MN, with an overnight at Grand Marais. The route covers a blend of gravel roads, some two-track, and a bit of pavement. Unique terrain and route on each day, with changing weather and potential for reroutes.

Race HIGHLIGHTS
