The Grand Traverse Mountain Bike Race is an epic 40-mile point-to-point challenge traversing Colorado's rugged Elk Mountains, from Aspen to Crested Butte. Known for its extreme elevation gain and remote, technical terrain, this high-alpine event demands serious endurance and self-reliance. Riders will experience breathtaking climbs and backcountry descents, all in support of the Crested Butte Nordic. COURSE DETAILS
Point-to-point from Aspen to Crested Butte with a demanding 6,800+ ft of climbing, including a steep ascent up Aspen Mountain. The course features mostly singletrack and rugged wilderness trails, with three aid stations along the route.
