The Last Best Ride is a premier gravel cycling event held in Whitefish, Montana, scheduled for July 27, 2025. Riders can expect a challenging and scenic journey through the region’s rugged wilderness, with a festive community spirit and a focus on adventure. Two course options provide both seasoned athletes and first-timers with rolling gravel and forested terrain, plus a welcoming race atmosphere and post-race celebrations.
COURSE DETAILS
• Long Course (Big Horn Sheep): 95 miles, 8,189 ft elevation gain, starting at 3,036 ft and peaking at 6,708 ft. Scenic mix of classic gravel, alpine views, and valley riding.
• Short Course (Mountain Goat): 55 miles, 4,189 ft elevation gain, starting at 3,036 ft, peaking at 4,489 ft. Enjoy a forested, rolling gravel adventure through Montana’s pristine landscape.

- Last Best Bandita Challenge: Finish both TLBR and The Dusty Bandita for a special medal
