The Orange Seal Breck Epic MTB Stage Race is an exhilarating six-day mountain bike event set amidst the high-altitude trails of Breckenridge, Colorado. Riders tackle a technically challenging course that spans over 220–240 miles, with each stage designed as a loop beginning and ending in downtown Breckenridge. This unique cloverleaf format means participants can enjoy the comfort of staying in one location throughout the event. With a total elevation gain of 40,000 feet across stunning alpine singletrack, rhythmic climbs, and technical descents, the Breck Epic is renowned for its vibrant community, festive atmosphere, and camaraderie forged on the trails. It’s a true celebration of backcountry mountain biking, offering side events like film festivals and skills clinics to round out an unforgettable race week.
COURSE DETAILS
A six-stage event with each stage looping from Breckenridge’s downtown, covering backcountry alpine singletrack including segments of the Colorado Trail and Mount Guyot. Technical descents, extended climbs, and high-altitude riding are hallmarks throughout. Optional timed Enduro sections add another level of competition.
