Pedal for Purpose: Ride Scenic Routes, Support Local Communities!
The Tour de Blueberry is a non-competitive charity cycling event held during the NC Blueberry Festival in Burgaw, North Carolina. Set for June 21, 2025, riders can choose from four scenic rural courses (10, 22, 33, or 66 miles) and pedal for a great cause—proceeds benefit local schools, scholarship programs, and first responders. This signature event, organized by Cape Fear Cyclists, invites cyclists of all levels to experience North Carolina’s countryside and festival fun while supporting community initiatives.
COURSE DETAILS
Four well-marked routes ranging from 10 to 66 miles on mostly paved rural roads. Courses are open to traffic and feature a mix of flat terrain with a notable 4-mile rough segment on Murraytown Road ("cobblestone-like"). Aid stations, SAG support, and detailed cue sheets/maps provided; course details may be updated closer to the date to match previous years' offerings.
