The Tour de Blueberry is a signature charity cycling event held on June 21, 2025, as part of the North Carolina Blueberry Festival in Burgaw. Riders of all levels can choose from four scenic routes (10, 22, 33, or 66 miles) winding through the rural landscapes of Pender County. This fully supported ride helps fund scholarships, school programs, and local emergency services, offering participants a unique chance to combine their love of cycling with impactful community support. Participants enjoy marked courses, aid stations, post-ride lunch, and a celebratory festival atmosphere filled with live music, craft vendors, and fresh blueberries.
COURSE DETAILS
Choose from 10, 22, 33, or 66 mile routes, all starting from Burgaw Middle School. Courses feature fully supported rides with aid stations, signage, and a notable 4-mile rough stretch on Murraytown Road. The terrain consists mostly of paved rural roads with short gravel sections.
