The True Grit Epic is a challenging early-season endurance race in Santa Clara, Utah, offering mountain bike (MTB) and gravel courses along with a multi-day stage race option. Scheduled for March 13-15, 2025, this event tests riders with technical terrain, steep climbs, and the breathtaking scenery of rugged desert landscapes. Whether you take on the signature singletrack or the high-country gravel passes, the True Grit Epic promises a memorable and gritty adventure amidst Utah's spectacular red rock.
COURSE DETAILS
MTB courses include 50-mile (actual 46 miles) and 100-mile options, featuring technical sandstone, rocky outcroppings, sandy washes, and famous singletrack trails such as the Zen Trail and Barrel Roll. Gravel race features two routes: the 84-mile 'Tough Stuff' with steep climbs over two mountain passes, and the 64-mile 'Sweet Stuff.' The stage race covers all three days, combining both MTB and gravel events.
