The 2025 USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships takes center stage in Charleston, West Virginia from May 19–26. This weeklong series brings together America's best for elite, U23, junior (17–18), and para-cycling battles across time trials, criteriums, and the iconic road races. The technical courses feature tough climbs, rapid descents, and riverside sprints, culminating with a Memorial Day showdown for the national titles. This year's edition introduces dedicated U23 women's events and welcomes para-cycling formats—making it the most inclusive and competitive Pro Road Nationals yet.
COURSE DETAILS
Road race: Multiple 13.1-mile laps with 1,126 ft of climbing each (elite men: 131 miles/10 laps; elite women: 79 miles/6 laps).
Time trial: Pancake-flat, fast out-and-back on the Kanawha River (10.4 miles; 95 ft gain).
Criterium: Fast, six-corner circuit through downtown Charleston, starting and finishing at Haddad Riverfront Park. Climbs include Bridge Road and Wertz Avenue mixed with riverfront flats.
Race HIGHLIGHTS
