The Uwharrie MTB Challenge is a mountain bike race set for February 22, 2025, in North Carolina’s Uwharrie National Forest. Riders can choose between Long and Short course options that wind through rugged singletrack, technical terrain, and challenging creek crossings. As the first stop in the Pisgah Triple Crown, this event is known for its competitive spirit, supportive community, and stellar backcountry trails. Early registrants receive an event shirt, and all finishers are treated to a post-race meal and fully stocked aid stations throughout the route.

Long Course: 28 miles (2,666 ft elevation gain)
Short Course: 22.8 miles (2,302 ft elevation gain)
