The Uwharrie MTB Challenge, taking place February 22, 2025, in Mount Gilead, North Carolina, is a demanding mountain bike event that puts riders to the test on challenging singletrack trails. With both long (28 miles) and short (22.8 miles) course options, the race features significant elevation gains, technical terrain, and is renowned for its relentless ascents and descents.
