The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series – Lake Placid will take place October 3–5, 2025, in New York’s spectacular Adirondack Mountains. As the only U.S. stop on the UCI World Cup calendar to host both Cross-country (XCO/XCC) and Downhill (DHI) disciplines, this event draws elite riders from around the globe. Spectators and athletes alike will experience a thrilling blend of high-speed endurance and gravity racing against the vibrant fall foliage, with competitions set on the region’s historic Olympic venues.
COURSE DETAILS
Cross-country (Mt. Van Hoevenberg): Technical, undulating trails with a mix of forest single-track, rocky outcrops, and open meadows. Downhill (Whiteface Mountain): Steep, rugged descent featuring legacy Olympic ski slopes, natural rock gardens, and machine-cut jumps.
